Introduction

Welcome to DPC. These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of the website DPC and its related sub-domains, sites, services, and tools. By accepting these terms and conditions (including the linked information herein), and by using the Site, you acknowledge that you agree to comply with these terms and conditions with DPC regarding your use of the Site.

This User Agreement is effective upon acceptance. If you do not agree to be bound by this User Agreement, please do not access, register with, or use this Site. Before you can become or continue as a participant in DPC activities through this Site, you must read, agree with, and accept these terms and conditions and DPC’s Privacy Policy. You should read this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy, and access and read all further linked information referred to in this User Agreement, as such information contains additional terms and conditions that apply to you as a user of DPC. Such linked information, including but not limited to the Privacy Policy, is hereby incorporated by reference into this User Agreement.

Electronic Communications

You agree that we may communicate with you via email or by posting notices on the Site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. During the registration process, DPC requires your consent to send you promotional emails to inform you about any new changes, features, or promotional activities added to the Site.

Amendments to this User Agreement

You acknowledge and agree that DPC will endeavor to notify you of any amendment to this User Agreement that materially increases your obligations or decreases your rights under the User Agreement in accordance with its terms. You acknowledge and agree that DPC, at its sole discretion and without liability, may make amendments that are not substantial without your further specific agreement at any time, with immediate effect by posting a notice of the amendment on the Site.

Fees and Safe Pay

DPC requests that you review the fees you will be charged based on our Fees, which we may amend from time to time with immediate effect by posting the changes on the Site. DPC may choose to temporarily change the fees for our services for promotional events (e.g., new activities). You must pay all fees payable to DPC as set out in our Fees.

The DPC Safe Pay system allows for payment on the Site to be made online. DPC is merely facilitating the making of online payments.

Important Notice: DPC does not offer fee waivers. Full fees are required for participation. Discounts are only available to loyal members as shown below. Discounts are available only to DPC scientific committee members and/or staff professors of co-host universities. DPC offers them a discount of 25% for each paper submitted.

Payment Processing

Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet requirements and standards. Therefore, customers are encouraged to frequently visit these sections to stay updated about changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.

All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented, or leased to any third parties.

If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secure connection.

DPC will not pass any debit/credit card details to third parties.

DPC is not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which it links. If you provide any information to such third parties, different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply. You should contact these entities directly if you have any questions about their use of the information they collect.

(DPC ) will NOT deal with or provide any services or products to any OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with Egyptian law.

Refunds will be made to the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.

Enter your legal setup country and stipulate that the governing law is the local law.

Customers using the website who are minors/under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.

Copyright

All content included on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property and copyrighted work of either DPC, its users, its content suppliers, or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights and laws. The compilation of the content on the Site is the exclusive property of DPC and is protected by copyright, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights and laws.

Privacy

DPC takes reasonable measures (physical, organizational, and technological) to safeguard against unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information and to store your personally identifiable information securely. However, the Internet is not a secure medium, and the privacy of your personal information cannot be guaranteed. DPC has no control over the practices of third parties (e.g., websites linked to this Site or third parties who misrepresent themselves as you or someone else). You agree that DPC may process the personal information you provide to it for the purposes of providing the services on DPC and for sending marketing communications to you and that the Privacy Policy of this Site governs our collection, processing, use, and any transfer of your personally identifiable information.

Commitment

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept to comply with the rules of academic writing determined by DPC as well as the style of printing. You also accept all the rules and respond positively to any amendments required by DPC’s scientific committee. Additionally, you conform to any notes and carry out any procedure required by DPC to ensure that your research paper is scientifically and correctly published.

Conference Proceedings

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you accept to comply with the rules of publishing, understanding that the content material becomes the property of DPC and that you are not expected to publish it in any other journal or present it at any other conference.

Awards

DPC is committed to offering certificates to authors for publishing their papers and other internationally accredited certificates for your attendance and participation in any workshop, training course, or any educational service after full payment of fees. DPC reserves the right to insert its name and logo in any scientific consultancy done for others.

Publishing Agreements

DPC is required to obtain the copyright of papers published by DPC from their authors for the term of copyright, and we would be grateful if you would confirm your acceptance by signing and returning the agreement below. Your acceptance includes permission for us to use all or part of the figures, diagrams, or photos, which may be included as part of a book cover design or for promotional materials. DPC may publish your work in hard copy or electronic formats, or as part of a compilation work, or in any other publication during the term of the copyright.

We will not withhold permission for any reasonable request from you to publish parts of this paper in connection with any other work by you, provided the usual acknowledgments are given regarding copyright notice and reference to the original publication.

If appropriate, the author’s employer may sign this agreement and, in any event, the employer may reserve the right to use the paper internally or for promotional purposes only, by indicating on this agreement.

The author warrants that the paper is the author’s original work and has not been published before (if excerpts from copyrighted works, figures, diagrams, photos, trademarks, or other such materials are included, the author will obtain written permission from the copyright owners and show credit to the sources in the manuscript). The author also warrants that the paper describes genuine research or review work, contains no libelous or unlawful statements, and does not infringe on the rights of others. DPC may assign any or all of its rights and obligations under this agreement.

If the work was prepared jointly, the author agrees to inform co-authors of the terms of the agreement and to sign on their behalf.

Cancellation & Refunds

Delegates who cancel their registration due to special circumstances more than 60 days before the start of the meeting and do not have a paper published in the proceedings will receive a complete refund minus the list price of the conference proceedings and a 20% administration charge. Fees remain payable in full for cancellations received within 60 days of the start of the meeting, even if the delegate is unable to attend or send a representative. On receipt of the fees, a copy of the proceedings will be provided. Delegates who cancel their registration and whose papers are published in the proceedings will receive a copy of the proceedings in lieu of their registration fees being refunded.

We strongly advise that if you need a visa to attend this conference, you apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Please note that while we will endeavor to assist you in obtaining a visa, the responsibility is yours, and the decision rests solely with the appropriate Embassy.

Providing Feedback

DPC encourages members/participants on the Site to provide feedback on each other’s conduct after a transaction has closed; as this helps all users know what it is like to deal with said members/participants. Your feedback will be displayed along with your user ID on the Site. You cannot retract the feedback once you have left it. DPC will not be responsible or liable in any way for the feedback that you post on the Site. You agree not to make comments that are not factual in nature, including without limitation making any racist comments, using profanity, abusing another user, disrespecting another culture, or any other derogatory or inappropriate comments. You further agree not to post feedback to solicit sales outside of the Site and not to display the contact information of any person within any feedback. If you continuously receive negative feedback ratings, without prejudice to any other rights and remedies of DPC under this User Agreement or at law, DPC reserves the right to suspend, limit, or withdraw your access to the Site and/or your membership of the Site. You acknowledge and agree that your feedback consists of comments left by other users with whom you transact and a composite feedback number compiled by DPC, and that together these convey your full user profile. As feedback ratings are not designed for any purpose other than facilitating trading between users, you agree that you shall not market or export your DPC feedback rating in any venue other than on the Site. DPC does not provide the technical ability to allow you to import feedback from other websites to the Site because a composite number, without the corresponding feedback, does not reflect your true online reputation within our community.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold DPC and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and suppliers harmless from any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs and expenses), however, suffered or incurred due to or arising out of your breach of this User Agreement.

Relationship and Notice

None of the provisions of this User Agreement shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or agency between you and DPC, and you shall have no authority to bind DPC in any manner whatsoever. Except as explicitly stated otherwise, any notices to DPC from you shall be given by email at info@idirect.com, with a hard copy sent to us by mail or courier, by return email. Any notices to you from DPC shall be given by notices posted on the Site or by email to the email address you provide to us during the registration process and shall be deemed to be received by you 48 hours after any such email is sent.

General

If any clause of this User Agreement is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, such clause shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining clauses of this User Agreement. This User Agreement (as amended from time to time in accordance with its terms) sets forth the entire understanding and agreement between you and DPC with respect to the subject matter hereof. No person who is not a party to this User Agreement shall have any right to enforce any term of this User Agreement. If this User Agreement is translated into any language other than English, whether on the Site or otherwise, the English text shall prevail.

Governing Law

This User Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with Egyptian law. This clause will survive any expiry or cancellation of this User Agreement for any reason.
